The derelict Gasworks site. The Planning Projects unit eventually prepared plans for the Residents Association in the Markets to build terraced housing at similar densities to proceed CDA plans. Taggarts architects eventually designed the Markets area housing but the old stables and commercial buildings were demolished and Cromac Street became a car park.
