Description

I have known the name Danny O’Hagan since first shuffling through John White’s film negatives shortly after John died in 1992. Recently, I returned to White’s images and noticed the 50th anniversary of O’Hagan’s death approaching. I decided to delve further into the case of Danny O’Hagan. I met with John O’Hagan, Danny’s cousin, and later with the wider family to discuss ideas about how to best honour him. The idea of a photographic commemoration was born.
